In a normal healthy
body, the immune system and the “friendly bacteria”
(flora) that inhabit the intestinal tract keep Candida overgrowth
under control. However, in today’s polluted and stressful
environment, and with our less than perfect dietary habits,
most of us don’t live at our maximum health potential.
When our immune and/or digestive systems are weak, we have
excess heavy metals in the body, and after a series of antibiotics,
the natural balance of our body’s flora is disturbed.
Antibiotics are prescribed to eliminate unhealthy bacteria
in the body. However, they also eliminate the “good”
bacteria enabling the Candida organism to multiply into
an overgrowth.
Candida is a living organism which excretes toxic waste.
This can lead to a variety of problems including: poor digestion,
fatigue, bloating, gas, poor elimination, mood swings, sugar
and carbohydrate cravings, head pain, brain fog, female
issues, skin rashes, lowered immunity, cold hands or feet.
Not only does our diet of excessive sugar and carbohydrate
contribute towards increased susceptibility, but oral contraceptives
and chemicals found in today’s food and drink also
play a major role. People that have been battling chronic
symptoms such as fatigue and low immunity without relief
should consider being ‘checked’ for Candida
overgrowth and tale the necessary steps to eliminate this
condition.
Symptoms:
• Feeling sick all over
• troubled by fatigue and/ or muscle aches
• bothered by food sensitivities and/ or digestive
problems
• crave sugar
• sometimes feel spaced out
• bothered by depression and/ or irritability
• bothered by headaches
• sensitive to tobacco smoke, perfume and other
chemicals
Women between the ages of 20 and 55 are especially
susceptible to develop yeast-related health problems with
the following symptoms:
• weight gain
• recurrent yeast or urinary tract infections
• PMS
• vulvodynia (burning vulva)
• sexual dysfunction (lost of interest in sex)
• dyspareunia (painful intercourse)
• infertilility
• endometriosis
• interstitial cystitis
Other complaints and illnesses that sometimes indicate
Candida:
• numbness/ tingling
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Crohn’s Disease
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome
• Colitis
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Myasthenia Gravis
• Eczema
• Acne
• Lupus Erythematosus
• Asthma
• Sinusitis
• Psoriasis
• Chronic Hives
Why You Developed Yeast-Related Health Problems
If you find that you’ve been plagued by the many
symptoms of Candida you might wonder how you came upon this
troublesome problem. Candida results from a state of imbalance
in the microorganisms of the digestive tract in which the
bad bugs have outnumbered the good. Chemicals, molds, nutritional
deficient diets are factors that play an important part
in causing your problems. The most important of these factors
are antibiotics. This includes not only antibiotics you
have taken in your adult life, but also antibiotics given
to you when you were a young child or teenager. Antibiotics
cause yeast overgrowth in your intestinal tract and vaginal
yeast infections. These infections set off disturbances
that can make you feel “sick all over,” because
they wipe out friendly bacteria in your intestinal tract,
vagina, and respiratory membrane. Candida yeasts are not
killed by antibiotics so they multiply and therefore weaken
your immune system, disturb the lining of the gut -causing
“leaky gut syndrome.” A leaky gut allows food
allergens and toxins to be absorbed into your circulation
system causing widespread havoc.
Other Culprits include:
• Hormonal changes associated with normal menstrual
cycle
• Birth Control Pills
• Pregnancy
• Steroids by pill, injection or inhalation
• Genital irritations and abrasions
• Diabetes
• Metal fillings & other restorations in your
mouth; metals in your parathyroid and digestive tract
