Functional Foods
 

Functional Foods are foods that may provide medical or health benefits beyond basic nutrition because of the presence of physiologically active compounds such as phytochemicals. Some foods are especially noted for their role in healing. The healing power of foods is a concept that focuses on how "super foods" can have health protecting properties. Some of these functional foods are listed below.

Acai Berry *

Aloe *
