Balance Your Hormones: Feel Good During Menopause
 

If you are going through menopause, remember, you are not alone, and there are many tricks to help alleviate the negative symptoms you experience. Look at this time as a whole new stage of life - it should be exciting!

Here's some guidelines to help you out:

  1. Take calcium supplements 3x/day. Do NOT use cheap IMITATION products. They often contain toxic fillers and binders. Your bones begin to demineralize at a rate of 5% per year for the next 5 years!!! Try Coral Legend or Coral Complex
  2. Eat more Soy protein - Choose organic tofu, edamame and miso for high quality protein at least 4 times each week. Avoid isolated soy protein in veggie burgers and bars, soy sauce and soymilk.
  3. Essential Fats - eat raw nuts, seeds and use olive, sesame, almond, coconut, and walnut oils
  4. Fish oil supplements - EPA/DHA or Cod Liver Capsules
  5. Flaxseed meal and oil - use 2 tablespoons daily - in any combination.
  6. Eat small, balanced meals 6 times daily - this keeps your metabolism going and prevent blood sugar imbalances.
  7. Protein & meal replacement shakes - get in healthy protein, vitamins, minerals, and low calories and fat - you can add flax meal to these. We recommend UltraMeal, Lean Body Whey & Hemp Protein.
  8. Probiotics
